Music and the Arts at Saint Paul
The music at Saint Paul is as diverse as the people here. It plays a key role in worship.
Enter the sanctuary and prepare to hear praise and worship songs with guitars and amplifiers as well as the voices of a traditional choir and the unique music of Calabash, a group of African members and friends of the church.
Praise and worship songs are often led by the pastor, Calabash musical group began in 1997 by African members and friends of the church interested in using the rich African culture and heritage in worship. The group is named after the calabash, a dry gourd made from the shell of a tropical fruit and covered with beads to use as an instrument. Interested in joining?
