Worship services are held at 11 a.m. every Sunday. The service is an upbeat mixture of contemporary and traditional methods of worship. Plans are under way for The FreeWay, a new service of contemporary worship at 6:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at Saint Paul. The service – designed for those still testing the waters about Christ and wanting to learn more – will be held every Saturday in the near future. Stay tuned! Throughout the year, several special services enhance the worship experience. The annual African Thanksgiving Celebration Day, usually the Sunday before Thanksgiving, is led by Calabash. Conducted in a traditional African style with African songs, the service is a special time for everyone to donate canned foods or fresh produce to the needy while celebrating God’s gifts in our own lives. A small feast of African snacks and finger foods follows the service. World Communion Sunday marks a time for people of many faiths throughout the world to celebrate communion as one people. Because of Saint Paul’s rich cultural heritage, people at Saint Paul also wear colorful clothing from their native lands as they join together in worship. Scout Sunday salutes Scouting each February.
